GRADUATION REPORT 2025
Introduction:
Graduation Day marks a significant milestone in the life of every nursing student. On 19th July 2025, SJES College of Nursing hosted the Graduation Ceremony for the outgoing B.Sc Nursing batch with grandeur and grace at the college auditorium. The day was filled with pride, joy, and emotion as students, parents, faculty, and dignitaries gathered to celebrate the academic achievements and transformation of the graduates into competent and compassionate nursing professionals. The event was a beautiful blend of tradition, recognition, and cultural expression.
Program Objectives
The Graduation Ceremony aimed to honor and recognize the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the graduating B.Sc Nursing students. It provided a formal platform for the institution to award certificates, inspire future professional conduct, and express gratitude to the mentors and supporters of the students. The event also served to highlight the values of service, empathy, and commitment that define the nursing profession and to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of the graduates.
The Ceremony
The ceremony began at 10:00 AM with a dignified academic procession, led by the faculty and dignitaries, marking the commencement of the Graduation Day. A graceful welcome dance performed by a student from 2nd B.Sc Nursing set a spiritual and uplifting tone for the celebration. The entire morning session was elegantly anchored by Mrs. Rekha Ma’am, whose presence added warmth and dignity to the proceedings.
Following the dance, Mrs. Veena M, Vice Principal, extended a heartfelt welcome to all the dignitaries, faculty members, proud parents, and graduates present. Her words reflected the shared pride and joy of the institution on this momentous day.
An inspiring message on the Significance of Graduation was then delivered by Mrs. Julie, highlighting the responsibilities that lie ahead for the graduates and the values they are expected to carry into their professional lives. This was followed by the Chief Guest Address delivered by Dr. Lingaraju G, General Manager of TREDA, who motivated the students with stories of perseverance, service, and dedication to humanity.
Following this, Dr. Hemam Sangeeta Devi, Principal of SEA CON, addressed the gathering. In her inspiring speech, she emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and compassionate care in the nursing profession. She encouraged the graduates to uphold ethical values, work diligently, and lead with empathy as they step into their professional roles. Her words were both motivating and thought-provoking, resonating deeply with the audience.
The most awaited moment of the day came as the graduates were invited to take their Graduation Oath, led by Principal Prof. Anne Mehala R, affirming their commitment to uphold the dignity and ethics of the nursing profession. The audience watched with pride as the graduates pledged their loyalty to service, knowledge, and care.
Next came the proud moment of awarding certificates to the graduating students. The certificates were conferred by our esteemed guests — Dr. Hemam Sangeeta Devi, Dr. Lingaraju G, Prof. Anne Mehala R, and Mrs. Veena M. Special recognitions were given to University Rank Holders, applauded for their academic excellence and contributions to the institution’s reputation.
An emotional and empowering alumni speech was delivered by Miss Brijith, who shared her journey from being a student of the college to a practicing nurse, offering encouragement and practical advice to the graduating batch. Her words were filled with gratitude, hope, and motivation.
A special alumni speech was delivered by Miss Hrishika S, a proud alumna of the institution. In her heartfelt address, she shared her personal journey from being a student of SJES College of Nursing to stepping into the nursing profession. She expressed gratitude to the management and faculty for their guidance and support throughout her academic years. Her message highlighted the challenges and rewards of professional nursing life and served as an encouragement to the graduating batch to pursue their careers with confidence, dedication, and compassion.
2020-2024 BATCH
The Annual Report was then presented by Principal Prof. Anne Mehala R, who summarized the achievements and progress made by the institution over the academic year. Her report highlighted student achievements, institutional development, and future goals.
A touching felicitation ceremony followed, where dignitaries were honored with mementos by the management as a token of appreciation for their valuable presence and continued support. As a vibrant expression of pride and celebration, the graduating students then took part in a lively Ramp Walk, reflecting their confidence, joy, and transition from students to professionals.
